Andy started back to work yesterday. Here he is taking off the first day. He was able to transfer with this company to an office in Golden which is about a 30 minute drive from our house (basically the same as durham to cary was) but the work they do in this office is MUCH different that what he was used to doing in NC which was heating and air conditioning design. We are so grateful for the blessing of the transfer and now are praying that andy will learn quickly and enjoy the world of petrochemicals!

Also, my mom left today to head back to NC. She has been here a little over a week and we are SO grateful for all she has done. I seriously would not have half as much done if she hadn't been here. She is quite task oriented and I can be ... well, not. Thank you momma for all your help!
here we are eating dinner at a place called Famous Dave's BBQ. Coming from the barbeque capital of the world, we were of course anxious to see what Dave had to offer. And it was in fact very good - definitely different and nothing close to eastern NC barbeque which we will always be partial towards, but good nonetheless. We had this sampler plate in a trashcan lid and it had ribs, chicken, pulled pork, french fries, green beans, cornbread, sweet potatoes and corn on the cob in it and it easily feed all three of us!
