Andy had his last Monday night with Jason and Jay. He has been meeting with these guys for accountability for quite a while now on every Monday night and they were faithful friends while he was in Cincinnati for 3 months - they got together and had a conference call with Andy! He has remarked to me several times that meeting with Jason and Jay is one of the things he is going to miss the most.
We got to see them all one last time when we had a great dinner at Maggianos right before we checked out.
Then Andy also got together with the old Padia crowd for lunch one day (Padia is where Andy used to work). He formed a lot of great friendships there that we are thankful for and Andy is unfortunately leaving the Jacobs office in NC where a few of them have now come to work! (I'm sure they missed you and told good stories about you Brian!)
We went down to Wilmington for the last weekend and had a great time at the beach and one more trip to Masonboro island. If Lil knew it was probably the last time she would go to the beach for a while, I don't think she would have come with us.
We also were home for the wedding of one of my best friends from high school. Jonathan is one of the greatest guys and was always looking out for me. He and Erin got married at the Dudley mansion in downtown Wilmington and it was absolutely beautiful.
J-Rock is a pilot and they danced to Come Fly with Me ... very cute.
and i got to see a lot of my old buddies from high school. I hung out a lot with all these guys and it was fun to catch up and see where they are in life.
and we got back home and the moving truck loaded up all our stuff later that week. We stayed at the Gainors that Thursday night since there was nothing left at our place which was definitely weird!
