Part 2 of October -
we went to Mike's farm out in eastern NC and got to go on a hayride to a real pumpkin patch
love these two little pumpkins!
Playing around at home one day
this looks like a bad idea...
Ben showing how fast he can run - reminds me so much of the time Sarala got her first pair of real tennis shoes in Colorado ;)
B watching his cousins' Taylor Swift music video (over and over and over again....)
We remembered my dad's birthday on 10/18 with oysters
We got to go to the State Fair with Gigi and Grandy! Ben had a great time
he probably would have stayed on this tractor all day if we let him
B also got to ride a few rides which he LOVED and really had no fear
there is no petting zoo anymore which is a major disappointment!
B was so worn out that he fell asleep while we were strolling back to the car
hanging on the porch with Gigi
It also happened to be the same time as the Providence Fall festival so Ben borrowed a costume from his cousins and had a great time with Will, Adeline and Anna
this picture of Ben makes me laugh so hard every time...
trying to help Kate look at the camera
on Ben's school field trip
Some Halloween cookies I made for Ben's class at school
costume parade at school

Batman was very serious about his parade responsibilities...

"helping" our next door neighbor Nathan carve his pumpkin

and finally some trick-or-treating! Ben was beyond excited and was not too happy about stopping!
Andy continued his tradition of dressing up as well.. inspired by his new job at the nuclear energy power plant
with neighbors Jack and Laurel
such a fun month!!
