Big brother

Big brother Ben has been having a fun summer and is doing great with baby Kate. He acted out a little more than usual for the first couple weeks but it was never directed at Kate - just exaggerated 2 year old behavior mainly. And he has settled back down to his normal self now, which certainly includes some tough moments =)

We have had lots of visitors and family which has helped distract him. He has also gotten a number of "prizes" in the last 6 weeks too

We made ice cream after Kate was born and he LOVES ice cream.

Ben was in a wedding 2 days before Kate's due date (which is a whole different post of its own!).  Aline, the bride, gave him a back pack with some goodies and this cute robe with his initials on it

Doing lots of bike riding and getting really good - he goes really fast and is learning to slow down around the corners though he still takes them too fast sometimes and tumbles over.  Here he is practicing how to stop
