December 20th was Ben's big 2nd birthday! Plans for a train party didn't go as planned in December but I think he forgives us.

and this was really the first time he's understood the whole concept of presents so he had a REALLY hard time waiting all day to open them (and then an even harder time understanding why he had to wait 5 more days to open the presents under the Christmas tree)
This was my feeble, sad attempt at making a train cake for him... cakes are definitely not my strong suit
Ben didn't seem to mind

I am planning to do a more official 2 year old Ben update but being the slack parent that I am, his 2 yo well child check isn't for a few more weeks so I'm using that as my excuse =)
