Gigi and Grandy August 2010

This past summer in August, Gigi and Grandy came to visit and we had a great time.


Ben was so excited to see them!

And we all took Ben on his first ever camping trip! We really had a wonderful trip and Ben did GREAT!! We camped right near Keystone at a great site and enjoyed a great, long weekend. Ben was 7 months at the time.

We got a new tent this past winter when J&C and fam were out visiting and it worked out great! A spot for all our family members.












We had great weather. Up into the 70s during the day with lots of sunshine. The evenings were a typical mountain cold and got down into the 40s overnight in August! So we bundled Ben up at night and he actually did awesome.

I have been very reluctant to get rid of these two pairs of shoes. I LIVED in these in high school - my Berks in the summer and Docs in the winter. I wouldn't get rid of them so Andy convinced me finally to give them a proper burial in the fire
