And I'm finally getting around to documenting my graduation from residency! You would think I'd be a little more on the ball about finally celebrating this milestone!
My parents came out for our graduation dinner and then spent some time with us afterward.
We each have one of our mentors from the past 3 years speak on our behalf and this is Carol Okada who I really love and has been such a great support to me over the past 3 years (not to mention that she's an amazing doctor as well)
My friend Liz - she has a little boy named Jack who is 3 months younger than Ben
and my wonderful residency class - these people really made the past 3 years SO much fun and bearable!
this is my friend Ana who was such a huge support to me after Ben was born and I was struggling
and Katie and Aline who are the other co-chiefs with me this year!
and of course, JR and Lindsay - our sweet friends who are from NC as well and have been our closest companions out here. They had a little girl this past August and will be leaving in January to work in a hospital in Cameroon with Samaritans Purse.
So thankful for my friends and family and wonderful husband who supported me throughout the last three years - and SO thankful that it's over!
