This past summer I only made it on one camping trip sadly but it was for a good reason. I stacked my schedule with as many hard rotations during the summer and early on in my pregnancy to be able to save some easier months for soon after the baby arrives.
We headed out to the Guanella pass to what has become our standard camping spot here in CO when we don't have the time or energy to be adventurous.

Sweet story about our doggie during our hike that weekend - I had stopped during the hike to fix my pant legs and andy kept going and went up over a ridge so I couldn't see him (it wasn't really that far). He told me later that day that as he was walking Lilly kept bumping into his side which he thought was weird but he didn't stop. Then all of a sudden she seemed to purposefully grab his hand in her mouth but not bite down and make him stop. Andy said that as soon as he stopped and turned around, she took off running to me!
Here we are coming back up the hill together! She wanted to make sure I was OK and that Andy knew I wasn't behind him anymore! our very own little Lassie
camping to come next summer with a little one!
