We were lucky enough that my vacation lined up with Matt and Sarah's wedding in SC!! Matt Kain was a Park scholar with me and part of a great group of friends that I made way back freshman year of college. We drove down to Pawleys Island from Raleigh and enjoyed seeing friends that we don't get to see nearly often enough - last time we were all in the same place was 2 years ago at Mark and Lindsay's wedding. Thank goodness there are still a few more to get married one day so we'll have occasions to get together.
The reception was at a beautiful plantation that definitely had old Southern charm ... and humidity - one thing that Andy has definitely NOT missed out in Denver.

The beautiful bride and groom, Sarah and Matt
It was really so much fun to see everyone and catch up. Everyone is doing so well in life and has accomplished so much - Rob is a famous (to us) movie director person, Catherine is a seriously in charge food engineer and she and Court had a little man named Caden, Mark and Lindsay both just got their PhDs, Caleb does something about statistics or stocks or something that i never understand, Matt is a lawyer, and Tony has worked for a NC Senator and just got a new job (that will bring him to Denver!) - a very talented group! We are hopeful for a group ski trip out to Colorado this winter!
We drove back to Raleigh Sunday morning, hung out with the Gainors briefly then headed to the airport. A busy but great trip home... last one as a family of 2! (plus lil of course)
