We were so lucky to have a week to escape at the end of June. All the interns at the Univ of Colorado get the last week of June off each year when the new interns start and I could NOT wait! It couldn't get here fast enough for many reasons: 1) vacation = no work = Jamaica! 2) I'm not an intern anymore! (I'm more excited about that than anything else!)
We had been planning all year to go to a National Park with Lindsay and JR but the longer the winter went on... the more we all needed a beach. JR found us a great deal in Jamaica and we had a great week of vacation with them. It also happened to be during the same week of our 5 year anniversary so it was a great celebration of five great years also.
We ate a lot, slept a lot, read a lot, and got to go diving too. Here's a summary of the pictures...
