daily happenings

Here's just a hodge podge of things going on around here...

For those of you complaining about temperatures in NC... just check our outside thermometer out!

i guess i must admit that this isn't entirely accurate..the sensor was directly in the sunlight at the time. but it still gets mighty hot here! Before we moved here, I was afraid that my shorts may never make it out of the drawer but that is certainly not the case! it's been in the high 90s for real the last couple weeks and we finally broke down and turned the AC on this week. The crazy thing is that even though it gets really hot during the day, it still cools down to the high 60s or low 70s most every night. I do think that we'll see the end of the high temps LONG before NC will and it certainly makes a difference not having any humidity.

we were so excited to see new buds on all our rose bushes!! more of that to come.



wolfpackers in colorado officially now. the honda still has the NC plates though because we are trying to figure out how to attach the plate to the front of the car. out here you have to have a plate on the front and the back. i like having the NC plates though cause i feel like it gets me a little bit of grace when i do dumb things driving out here (move of that to come too)



Andy has ridden the bicycle up to the store a few times and here he is leaving the first time to go get us bagels on a Saturday morning. (i think the bike's a little too small for him)






this is what you can find Andy doing most Monday evenings. Jay and Jason have been so faithful to continue to include him in their accountability time via phone now. good thing they had some practice while andy was in cincinnati.


and this is what you can usually find lilly doing.. waiting expectantly for andy to throw something off the porch for her to chase.
